Pink Floyd’s set on 16 July 1970, was recorded for BBC Radio 1’s Peel’s Sunday Concert. This celebrated live session came just weeks before the release of the band’s iconic fifth studio album, Atom Heart Mother. This performance preserves a pivotal moment, when Floyd was at the height of their creativity, capturing the band’s experimentation with psychedelic rock and the avant-garde. From the eerie melodies of Embryo, through to the Atom Heart Mother suite, this set immerses you in a vast sonic soundscape.

The final two tracks are taken from the band’s legendary performance on 30 September 1971, during the Atom Heart Mother World Tour.
